MLP OW Tyandaga art contest

I started working at my contribution as fast as i could, i had no ide what to do. After 3 days I decided to do my original idea, a mlp overwatch crossover. Ty had never played it and nether had I, but I probably know everything about the game. Sens Ty had never played, he didn't have a favorite character (I asked), so I took MCcree sens it works with his color scheme. I took Sombra, because she is most fitting for my personality and I use her normal skin because I'm not a fan of the blue once.

I gave mine same hair as Sombra, but with my original hair under and her purple dyeing and made the tail similar. Sombra has two "things" on her left, but ponies has there ear there so i put one at each side and one around the horn. The clothing was difficult when ponies has another physicality, on the last part of Sombras belt hangs her translocators, that part is located around her stomach and ponies has that side down, I thought it was better to hang them on the side of the jacket. She uses her nails to hack but i have  hooves, so I located it there. Sombras fabric is hard to make when it shifts colors, but i think I managed to recreate it.

Ty's OC was hard to draw because it has a different physical appearance, I tried my best to recreate it without drawing on top of another picture. Ok... details, he has antlers and it could be hard to fit a hat there, so I let it hang on them. MCcree has armor on his leg, they are on the back legs, hold on place with belts. He also has a left robot arm and a glove on his right, witch I made to a shoe. The revolver holder is slightly hidden under his.... his.... scarf? Witch was hard to make all details and wavy. The chest plate is smaller because of proportion.

the background was first gonna be Kings Road in London, but I didn't have time with all that decorations. So I switch to Hanamura in japan. I redesigned it and put the temple in the back with a smaller building closer up. Than Mount Fuji far away and the city at it's foot. First  it was supposed to be day but night felt better, so I placed the moon behind Fuji (and it's  accurate to the moon in Japan by tilt) it was gonna be dark, so I pleased some lanterns hanging from the roofs. Speaking of roofs the plates on it took hours!

the background characters is a Torbjörn turret, a Genji on the roof, a Mercy and a Silver Quil WidowMaker that wants revenge from "🎶silver quil got run over by a rain deer" video and that Ty commented "backing away slowly" REFERENCE!

Accessories is Sombras gun in extreme details with smal pellets flying away and a pink box of cookies with printed cookies in English and Japanese. I was gonna make a magic aura around them but it was to difficult(I spent 3 hours on it)

when I was done drawing in a app called GoodNotes on the iPad (I use iPad instead of computer because it's so easier to draw with fingers than with mouse), my art teacher thought it would be fun to try coloring and it takes ages in GoodNotes, so she showed me photoshop, I had never used it before (and nether had anyone else) so I had to figure it out on my own. AND GOOD GOD IT WAS EASY!!!

after coloring I tried shading and light on it, making the lanterns, city and moon glow. And darkening the the conners of buildings and OCs

the scene is me trying to help and play the objective. While Ty is walking away and eating cookies 🍪

Drawin the lines took around 60 hours (2 weeks) and coloring took 15 hours (3 days)

I'm really happy with the outcome and it was fun trying photoshop for the first time, and I will keep drawing there, I hope you like it Ty and sorry for being late, it just took so long time and I know this may be not what you ask for but i do what I want to do
